Anesthesia is Administered

First, one of our trained anesthesia providers will safely administer the correct amount of anesthesia, putting you in a medically induced state of rest. From there, you’re in good hands as our trained surgeon and medical team are able to continue the procedure.

Incisions Are Made

We will then make incisions on your body in discrete areas, such as under the breast crease, the armpit, or even around the areola border. This discretion allows your incisions to heal in a more natural way that will reduce your discomfort. Dr. Webb will determine the size and location of the incisions prior to your surgery.

The Implants Are Inserted

After the principal incisions are made, the breast implants are then inserted — either underneath the breast tissue itself or beneath the chest muscles. Dr. Webb will determine the best choice based on your breast’s unique anatomy. That said, we believe in total doctor-patient communication, so Dr. Webb will communicate his choices to you prior to your surgery so you can make an informed decision.

The Incisions Are Closed

Finally, after the implants are inserted and moved into place, we will carefully close the incision with absorbable sutures.
